Reining
Forest Products was founded in the Village of Beach
Lake during 1944 by William J. Reining, with the first
sawmills located on the unofficial (but locally known)
Mill Road. In 1996, a new sawmill was constructed on
a 27 acre site along Route 652 approximately 1 mile
east of "downtown" Beach Lake.
In
the summer of 2006, we brought our new second mill
online in order to optimize production - allowing us
the ability to saw both the 16' - 20' lumber and the
smaller 8' - 10' - 12' lumber simultaneously.
With this expansion, our state of the art
facility is now over 37,000
square feet, producing more than 7.5 Million Board Feet
of Softwood
Lumber annually. Our mill is equipped with an HMC debarker
and
Headrig, Stenner resaw, Tierney gang / edger and HMC
double end
trimmer. We also operate a Newman M-68 planer, capable
of producing S4S and Tongue and Groove 2" & 3" Planking.
We
are the largest producer of Softwood Lumber and Timbers
in Northeast Pennsylvania and are ideally located to
service all states East of the Mississippi River as
well as Eastern Canada.
